The City of Olean Youth Bureau holds its annual Youth Fishing Derby on Saturday, June 26, at Forness Pond. Registration starts at 9:30, with the Derby taking place from 10-noon. This FREE event will the split into two divisions: Kids 9 and under, and Kids 10-over. Those children ages 16 and older will need to possess a valid NYS Fishing License.
The Olean Rod & Gun Club will provide hot dogs and pop to participants…prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of the derby. Sponsors for the event are the Olean Rod & Gun Club, Whitetail County Sports World and the City of Olean Youth Bureau.
