The Tri-County Arts Council is hosting a “Snow Sculpture With Eric Jones” event at 110 West State St in Olean on Thursday, January 16, from 5-7pm. The Allegany County Firemen’s Auxiliary will meet on Thursday, January 16, starting at 6:30 at the Duke Hose Company Fire Hall, 80 Stevens Street in Wellsville.  The meeting begins with a Tureen Dinner…bring a dish to pass and your own table service.  The meeting will also include the annual Christmas Party…bring  gift for exchange.

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 192 will host a Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, Jan 18, at 2 Buffalo St in Coudersport. Service starts at noon until 3 or the food is gone. $15 includes pasta, meatballs, salad, bread and dessert. Children 10 and under $10, and children under 5 eat free. Proceeds benefit veterans and their families, and the community.

The Pulaski Club of Olean will hold their annual Polish Fest on Saturday, January 18, from 1-5pm, featuring Polish and American Food Favorites, and Music by the Larry Lewicki Band.  This is a FREE Family-Friendly event…a Basket Raffle and other Fundraisers will take place during Polish Fest.  For more information, call the Pulaski Club at (716) 372-9734.

The Cattaraugus-Allegany Liberation Collective will host a digital photo exhibition entitled “Living History:  Palestine and its People Over Time” on Saturday, January 18, from 11-2:00, at the Cuba Circulating Library.  The exhibition showcases photographs of Palestinian land and people, taken from the 1800’s to present day.  Two showings will take place in the Community Room of the library, with conversation to follow.  The powerful and carefully curated exhibit is free and open to the public.  For more information, message the collective on Instagram or Facebook by searching for CALC.
